LA COCINA 20TH ANNIVERSARY GALA | RINCON CENTER, SAN FRANCISCO, CA

We were incredibly honored to design and plan La Cocina’s 20th Anniversary Gala! Having worked on their galas for many years, this one felt especially meaningful—our first since the pause during COVID.

La Cocina was born in the heart of San Francisco’s Mission District, a vibrant, largely Latino, working-class community where small, informal food businesses are the soul of the neighborhood. From the beginning, La Cocina has stood on a powerful belief: that with the right support, naturally talented entrepreneurs can build thriving businesses that nourish their families, uplift their communities, and enrich the city as a whole. Since 2005, its kitchen has been a launchpad for truly incredible food and visionary culinary talent.

For the 20th anniversary celebration, we set out to create a space that felt as magical as the stories behind it—full of warmth, joy, and purpose. We wanted every guest to feel the love, passion, and perseverance poured into each dish, while also being able to celebrate, relax, and connect.

The Rincon Center provided a stunning backdrop for the evening, welcoming 350 guests to an unforgettable night. They were treated to extraordinary food by some of San Francisco’s most inspiring female chefs, including Shelley Lindgren of A16, Annie Stoll of Delfina, Kim Alter of Nightbird, Elizabeth Faulkner of TMaro, Sarah Rich of Rich Table, and so many others.

We’re thrilled to share that the evening raised a record-breaking amount in donations—our most successful gala yet!
